In the shop, we seek energetic, knowledgable folks with a love
of the outdoors and an ability to multi-task. We deal with customers, help with merchandising,
restock inventory, dust, rearrange, put away...generally anything that the customer requires
and anything that arises to help make our world a better place to be when we can't be
out in the pow or spinning our wheels. Our tech staff are some of the best in the Gunnison Valley. No repair
too big, no question too lame. We work on every type of bike from townie clunker to high-end
performance racing bike. We work on any ski related to going up and down a hill with maximum
pleasure.
Upstairs, as we like to call it, is our e-commerce
world, where pages like this happen, where product descriptions
are written, where customer service for all our websites (we've
got a few!) takes place by some of the best tele minds out there. TelemarkSki.com,
for example, is one of the top sources in the nation (perhaps
the universe) for tele/Nordic/backcountry info and gear. And ATSkis.com is
on the rise. And of course, Alpineer.com remains a valuable
(and dare I, the current writer, say) and fun part of our life
here.
